How do I send in my Photo’s?
How many Photos should I send in?
You’ll want to send in at least 3-5 photos. (3) of the outside (1 being a ¾ view shot), (1) of the engine and (1) of the Interior. Other pictures you may want to send in are: Emblems/Logos (Shot as straight on as you can) a shot of you working on the car, tail lights, dash, and any photo of items that make your vehicle stand out. We won’t use them all, but the more we have the more creativity we’ll have. After looking them over we may request that you take new pictures or a picture of a certain area. But don’t get hung up on Pictures we try to make our boardz tell a story, not to show a bunch of photos of a vehicle that is sitting right in front of the viewer.
The photo of my car I like best is Blurry and the color is off slightly Can you work with this?
Not really. We would suggest that you take new Photos or look for others. If you have any questions with your photos feel free to e-mail us.
I have a Photo that I want to use but there’s a tree / person in the background. Can you remove?
Yes. Each board includes (1) photo that we’ll remove the background from. All photos after that will have an extra charge of ($5) Once the background is removed to the best of our ability we will e-mail you a copy for your approval.
Can you change the background in one of my photos?
If it’s a photo that we cut out, then sure. But let’s talk about this before we start changing backgrounds.
My Vehicle was in a magazine. Can you use some of these photos?
We can, but the quality may suffer. Send them to us and we’ll take a look. No guarantees.
How do I make a Payment?
At the time of your order you will be required to make a 50% deposit through Paypal. The balance will be due prior to Shipment and will also be made through Paypal
What happens if I get my board and there's a typo?
We will be sending you a Proof for you to APPROVE before we go to print. This way you have the opportunity to review the text for typo’s, punctuation and miss spellings before it’s printed.
Can I make changes to the Proof?
Once the proof is sent to you we can make some minor changes, but would like to keep them to a minimum. Move wording around, move a picture or changing some of the text is not a problem. Unfortunately, we can’t make everyone happy. We will do our best to highlight your vehicle the best we can. We design our boards as if they were for our own vehicles. If for some reason you don’t like the layout that we’ve come up with there will be a $50 charge for us to start over, but we are confident that you’ll like what we’ve come up with. The $50 will only come into play if you don’t like the final proof.
Will my Board fade?
Over time all boards will fade, but the laminate that we use on ALL of our boards has a UV coating built in.
Is the Show Board water Resistant?
It will resist moisture, where you need to be concerned is the edges where moisture can seep in. Just make sure that you use something like a micro towel to wipe it off.
How do I clean my Show Board?
Use a damp Micro towel, keeping water away from the edges
How will my Show Board stand up in the wind?
Will my Show Board warp?
Over time Yes, It's plastic. We recommend that you don’t leave your Show Board in your vehicle on hot summer days. The inside of your vehicle could reach a temperature of over 200 degrees which will easily warp any board made by any of the designers on the web.
How long will it take to receive my Show Board?
Usually, you will receive the Proof in 5-10 working days and once the Proof has been approved it will take us 10-15 to make your board. Remember these are not just a print and stick it to a piece of foam backing. The wait is worth it!
I need my Board for an upcoming show can I put a RUSH on it?
We can put a RUSH on your order your order for an extra fee, but lets talk about this at the time of the order.
